Today’s Doctor Who fan has always-on, ever-present access to not only the newest iteration of their favorite show but all the spin-offs, supplemental features, fan films and other esoterica related to their favorite program. They probably don’t realize how different their situation is from the early Sixties, when one’s Doctor Who fix consisted solely of a once-a-week viewing. If you missed it, you never saw it again. And in the case of many stories from that decade, that was quite literally what happened.
