The first North American DVD release of 2011 will take place on Tuesday, January 11 when the Tom Baker story Meglos and the Season 6 opener, The Dominators, will hit the shelves. BBC America has announced that classic Doctor Who DVD releases, beginning with Meglos in 2011, will be synchronized across all major regions. Whereas in the past months would pass between a UK and North American or Australian/New Zealand release, releases will now come in the same week beginning next year. November 2 will see the North American release of two Classic Doctor Who Cybermen stories, Tom Baker’s Revenge of the Cybermen and Sylvester McCoy’s Silver Nemesis.
