The episode in question is Gareth Roberts’ The Lodger, episode 11 of Series 5. As usual with Neil, the boundaries of decency for Radio Free Skaro were pushed ever further, as was the level of integrity and humour. A good time was had by all!

Doctor Who Magazine 428 reports that Graham will be penning episodes 5 & 6, which comprise a two-part story.

On a (likely) related note, Doctor Who Spoilers is reporting the casting of Sarah Smart for an upcoming two-parter to be directed by Julian Simpson. The first filming block comprising episodes 3 & 4 has wrapped and the current filming block comprising Episodes 1 & 2 is underway, and currently filming in America, so we anticipate episodes 5 & 6 to comprise the next filming block. (UPDATE: Graham has himself confirmed this on Twitter.)

Graham, whose previous Doctor Who credit is 2006′s Fear Her has also had great success with Life on Mars and Ashes to Ashes. While Fear Her may not be a lauded classic for most, having Graham on the Series 6 writing team definitely excites the Three Who Rule!

Once that was coyly dealt with, and after a dark, sinister, and negative experience watching The End of Time Part One last week, the Three Who Rule were in finer spirits for their second outing in Finale-Stan, the catchily-titled “The End of Time Part Two”. Between Chris’s endless (no really, they just wouldn’t end) gags about slash writers and the occasionally engaging spectacle onscreen, your erstwhile hosts proved to be much more affable on this leg of the excursion, and bile was replaced by hope and optimism as Matt Smith crashed onto our screens and into our coal-black, ginger-hating hearts. Geronimo.

No confirmation has yet come, however if this holds true he would be joining Neil Gaiman and (maybe) Jack Thorne in writing for Matt Smith’s sophomore outing.
