The BBC Wales press launch for the new series of Doctor Who, starring Matt Smith, took place on March 18 in Cardiff. Here’s a BBC news report on the event, featuring an interview with Matt Smith and a short clip from The Eleventh Hour:

Also revealed was the fact that there will be a Doctor Who Christmas special in 2010 and a further full series in 2011…but then, we were all kind of expecting that, weren’t we?
Series Five of Doctor Who premieres on BBC One on Saturday, April 3.
