Doctor Who: Radio Free Skaro 
OMG OMG!!! Was that actual praise for RTD from Chris? It can’t be. And here i was thinking that chris believed that RTD was the worst thing to ever happen to DW.

The press are making a big deal of what Steven Moffat said about the Daleks in the new Radio Times.
To read the stories, you’d think that he had said that the Daleks would never be back, but he didn’t. His precise words from the article are:
“Oh yes, the Daleks. Actually, they aren’t going to make an appearance for a while.” What? “Yes, we thought it was about time to give them a rest. There’s a problem with the Daleks.” How come? I thought they were invincible. “They are the most famous of the Doctor’s adversaries and the most frequent,” explains Moffat. “Which means they are the most reliably defeated enemies in the universe. They have been defeated by the Doctor about 400 times. Surely they should just see the Tardis approaching, say, ‘Oh. It’s him again’, and trudge away.”
The media aren’t actually saying they won’t be back, but that’s certainly the impression they are giving.
Of course, if they knew Doctor Who, they’d know that there are too reasons why they couldn’t be retired:
1. If that were to happen, they’d also have to ‘retire’ the Cybermen, the Sontarans, the Silurians, the Master, etc.
2. The Daleks are very important to the overall arc of Doctor Who: The Great Time War wad fought between the Time Lords and the Daleks, and has affected the entire Universe and time – and we know that the Doctor ended it, destroying Gallifrey, the Time Lords and the Daleks. There’s no way that the Daleks wouldn’t appear again sometime in the future
It is an interesting interview, and I found an earlier bit particularly interesting:
There have been a few grumbles of late about the plotlines and their perceived complexity. “Well, you have to pay attention,” says Moffat severely. He sounds like a teacher, and then I remember he was an English teacher in his 20s. “You can’t watch it when you are doing the ironing. And you certainly can’t watch it when you are tweeting.”
I’d read comments about it being hard to follow, but I don’t see it that way – I agree with Moffat, that you just need to concentrate!

I understood the title “Lets Kill Hitler” as a comment on the thought that “time can be rewritten” that the Doctor has been insisting on after meeting River Song… and that killing Hitler is the one thing that when talking about time travel will come up, and it never works out for the best… just my 0.02 cents. That trying to change the Doctor’s past so that River doesn’t die or isn’t kidnapped or whatever else, will mess things up worse than when Rose tried to rescue her dad…
just my 0.02 cents worth.
